Dr. Hershman

Dr. Donald Hershman is a board-certified surgeon with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery.  He has been helping patients with their foot issues for over 40 years.

As a top-ranked podiatrist, Dr. Hershman understands the critical role of the foot and ankle, providing compassionate, advanced and above all, ethical courses of therapy based on the unique needs of each of his patients. The most common focus areas in his practice include sports medicine, foot surgery, orthotics, bunions, ingrown toenails and toenail fungus, warts, plantar fasciitis, diabetic wound care, and foot injuries.

Originally from New York, Dr. Hershman graduated cum laude from the State University of New York in Buffalo. He went on to receive his D.P.M. at the California College of Podiatric Medicine, followed by his surgical residency at Westchester General Hospital in Miami, Florida. In June 1982, he established his own practice in San Francisco and since then has continued to proudly serve his Bay Area community.

Dr. Mah

Dr. Matthew Mah is a board-certified and second-generation podiatrist physician who treats patients with a variety of foot and ankle problems. He is a San Francisco native who is honored to serve his local community here in the Bay Area.

Dr. Mah received his undergraduate Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at the University of Washington and obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University. He also completed a three-year residency training focused on comprehensive podiatric medicine and surgery at the VA San Francisco Medical Center, a UC San Francisco Medical School teaching affiliate, serving as chief resident during the final year of his training.

He is qualified to treat patients who suffer from bunion deformities, heel pain/plantar fasciitis, sports-related injuries, deformities, fractures, arthritis, as well as a myriad of dermatological conditions related to the foot and ankle.
